DESCRIPTION:Lone Wolf Comedy Club feat. Dave Longley Angela Barnes Andy Askins\n\nAndy Askins\nAndy has built a reputation as a distinctive and original talent as a performer and joke writer. He has performed with Michael McIntyre\, Lee Evans\, Jason Manford\, Alan Carr\, Jimmy Carr\, Micky Flanagan\, Harry Hill\, Rhod Gilbert\, Bill Bailey and Jack Dee. He has performed at The Edinburgh Festival in 2016 and also at the Melbourne Comedy Festival 2018 and Adelaide Comedy Festival 2019. \nOn TV screens\, Andy appeared at The Hackney Empire for The John Bishop Show (BBC1) alongside a stellar line-up from the worlds of comedy and music\, Andy was then invited back to perform on the John Bishop Christmas Show at The Lyceum Theatre with Kylie Minogue and Olly Murrs. \nHe has recorded TV performances for Comedy Central and featured on two series of ‘Live The Comedy Store’ two series of ‘The World Stands Up’’ and also on BBC Scotland’s\, ‘Comedians at the Kings’ tv series. \nHe has performed all over the world and in venues as varied as\, a company of soldiers in Saddam Hussein’s Palace in Iraq\, to a sold-out Royal Albert Hall in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. \n \nAngela Barnes\nAngela Barnes swapped a career in health and social care for stand-up in 2010 and hasn’t looked back.  Within just a couple of years she had won the BBC New Comedy Award\, and progressed to UK tours and starring as a regular on BBC’s Mock the Week and Live at the Apollo\, and Hypothetical on Dave. \nFans of Mock the Week will know that with 38 episodes in the history of the 17 years of the show\, Barnes was the highest female panellist for appearances. The first was in 2014 and contributed to her growing success in the comedy circuit with her style of observation comedy on her own life. \nShe is a firm favourite on BBC Radio 4\, having featured on The Now Show and The News Quiz – including a recent stint as the host – and she has also hosted BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack. Besides this\, Angela co-hosts the popular podcast We Are History with John O’Farrell (Acast). \nAngela is from Maidstone\, but studied at the University of Sussex in Brighton and still lives in the city. As well as being a great addition to any club line up\, David had also written and performed five full length festival solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe\, each one greeted with critical acclaim.
