She had actually taken up one of the many comedy courses in stand-up. This later resulted in Lindsey being a semi-finalist in the BBC’s New Comedy Awards. \nThat was in 2016 and five years later she was performing at the Edinburgh Fringe and had reached the finals of the British Comedian Of the Year. \nShe has performed at the Birmingham Comedy Festival 4 times now. Also\, she’s a regular contributor on Brum Radio and BBC’s West Midlands\, BBC Radio2 and BBC Radio4. The first was in 2014 and contributed to her growing success in the comedy circuit with her style of observation comedy on her own life. \nShe is a firm favourite on BBC Radio 4\, having featured on The Now Show and The News Quiz – including a recent stint as the host – and she has also hosted BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack. Besides this\, Angela co-hosts the popular podcast We Are History with John O’Farrell (Acast). \nAngela is from Maidstone\, but studied at the University of Sussex in Brighton and still lives in the city. She started performing comedy in 2008\, and won the BBC Radio 2’s New Comedy Award in 2011. \n“A gloriously down-to-earth\, straight-talking and extremely funny comic” – GUARDIAN \n“A natural born storyteller… Hot Mess is hilarious” – VOICE MAG  \n”thoroughly entertaining… well written\, well balanced\, quality” – BROADWAY BABY \n \nAdam Beardsmore\nOriginally hailing from Staffordshire\, Adam now lives and works in Stratford-upon-Avon\, Warwickshire.
