Lone Wolf Comedy Club feat. Laura Lexx, Scott Bennett & host Andrew Bird

Show details:

Scott delivers great observations on the absurdity of modern living. His sharply written routines have been delighting audiences across the country. His first Edinburgh show ‘About a Roy’ was nominated for the prestigious Amused Moose Comedy Award, and was also one of the top 10 shows at the Fringe that year. Bennett was recently chosen to support TV comedian Michael McIntyre for his work in progress show in London, and most recently has supported his comedy hero Rob Brydon on his 2017/18 tour. A well respected online comedy magazine ‘Chortle’ has tipped him as one of the ones to watch for 2021. Watch this space!

“Great material, great delivery, a very funny man”  Rob Brydon

“Brilliantly funny, a joy to watch” Chris Ramsey

Regional comedian, author and actor Laura Lexx is vivacious, impassioned, intelligent and one of the best MCs/Headliners on the comedy scene. Born and bred in the home county of Somerset, Laura’s comfy demeanour, warmth and energy delightfully juxtapose her biting wit, sharp tongue and brutal audience take downs, which just can’t stop going viral.

Following her Live at The Apollo (BBC) debut Laura received an unprecedented reaction both from the live crowd and audiences at home, which lead to her appearing in shows such as Mock The Week (BBC), Hypothetical (Dave) and Celebrity Mastermind (BBC) to name a few.

Having reached the lofty heights at the top of the live comedy club circuit, headlining at clubs around the UK and Europe, Laura also boasts a series of highly-polished and critically acclaimed stand up shows on ITVX, is the published author of Klopp Actually and Pivot her debut novel, and is an in-demand writer on shows such as Have I got News For You (BBC), The Now Show (BBC R4) and The Really REALLY Rude Puppet Show (Dave).

”a joy… roars of laughter” The Independent

”…real comedic steel’’ – The Guardian

Andrew Bird

Andrew appeared on “The Russell Howard Hour” and supported Russell on tour including Bristol’s Ashton Gate Football stadium and six shows at The London Palladium. He’s also supported Rhod Gilbert, Rob Brydon, America’s Brian Regan and Michelle Wolfe on their only London shows and Michael McIntyre on an entire arena tour including Wembley and the O2. He’s written on the TV shows Jon Richardson’s Ultimate Worrier and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
