Lone Wolf Comedy Club feat. Steve Hall, Marcel Lucont & host Andrew Bird
Show details:
Steve Hall
Probably best known as being a third of the We Are Klang sketch group with Greg Davies and Marek Larwood, Steve Hall is a superb stand-up in his own right and has provided support for Russell Howard on three of his sell-out national tours.
Steve has been called a Steve Coogan ‘lookalike and soundalike’, which makes sense as they are distantly related through a convoluted web of Irish cousins. Hecklers tend to think Steve looks more like Mr Bean. Daily Telegraph Comedy Awards 2003 and BBC Comedy Awards 2003 runner-up.
”The most intelligent stand-up you’ve never heard of”-GQ
”His phrasing is joyous and choice of words close to poetic”-Metro
”Deadpan brilliance”-Time Out
”Wonderfully misanthropic”-Sunday Times
”Russell Howard’s fine tour support”-The Times
Marcel Lucont
Marcel Lucont is without question the greatest UK-based French comedian around.
This multi-award-deserving flâneur, raconteur and bon-viveur is currently touring the world, charming women and insulting the stupid. His deadpan stand-up, world-class sex poetry and bawdy chansons have been a huge hit all over Europe, Australasia and America and he has improved many a TV show along the way, including:
Set List (Sky Atlantic)
Comedy Central At The Comedy Store
The John Bishop Show (BBC1)
John Bishop’s Christmas Show (BBC1)
The New Zealand Comedy Gala (TV3)
Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC3)
Live At The Electric (BBC3)
Best Bits (TV1)
7 Days (TV3)
Aotearoha Comedy Carnival (TV3)
Andrew Bird
Andrew appeared on “The Russell Howard Hour” and supported Russell on tour including Bristol’s Ashton Gate Football stadium and six shows at The London Palladium. He’s also supported Rhod Gilbert, Rob Brydon, America’s Brian Regan and Michelle Wolfe on their only London shows and Michael McIntyre on an entire arena tour including Wembley and the O2. He’s written on the TV shows Jon Richardson’s Ultimate Worrier and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

“Birdie supported me on my arena tour and made me laugh every
