DESCRIPTION:Lone Wolf Comedy Club feat. Adam Beardsmore Angela Barnes James Ellis\n  \n \nAdam Beardsmore\nOriginally hailing from Staffordshire\, Adam now lives and works in Stratford-upon-Avon\, Warwickshire. An animation editor by day\, he made his stand-up debut in 2017 after a friend signed him up for an open mic night\, and has since taken part in the BBC New Comedy Award 2018. Among his inspirations are Ross Noble\, Bill Burr\, “as well as endless Billy Connolly videos that I watched from far too young an age.” \n“So funny and has the ability to make anything work and people have a great time” – Josh Pugh \n“A very good host\, putting the whole audience at ease” – Fern Brady \n\n \nAngela Barnes\nAngela swapped a career in health and social care for stand-up in 2010 and hasn’t looked back.  Within just a couple of years she had won the BBC New Comedy Award\, and progressed to UK tours and starring as a regular on BBC’s Mock the Week and Live at the Apollo\, and Hypothetical on Dave. \nFans of Mock the Week will know that with 38 episodes in the history of the 17 years of the show\, Barnes was the highest female panellist for appearances. The first was in 2014 and contributed to her growing success in the comedy circuit with her style of observation comedy on her own life. \nShe is a firm favourite on BBC Radio 4\, having featured on The Now Show and The News Quiz – including a recent stint as the host – and she has also hosted BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack. Besides this\, Angela co-hosts the popular podcast We Are History with John O’Farrell (Acast). \nAngela is from Maidstone but studied at the University of Sussex in Brighton and still lives in the city. She started performing comedy in 2008 and won the BBC Radio 2’s New Comedy Award in 2011. \n“A gloriously down-to-earth\, straight-talking and extremely funny comic” – GUARDIAN \n” thoroughly entertaining… well written\, well balanced\, quality” – BROADWAY BABY \n \nJames Ellis\nHis sharp observational humour and clever punchlines have won him rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.James’ comedy is rooted in everyday life\, and he has a knack for finding the funny in the mundane. A gifted writer\, his jokes are well-crafted and delivered with precision. \nLeicester Comedian of The Year 2025 Nominee\, South Coast Comedian of the Year 2021\, regional finalist for the BBC New Comedy Award\, James is currently on the road supporting Angela Barnes on her “Angst” Tour. Ellis is a “Talented comedy craftsman” (Steve Bennett\, Chortle) with a bright future ahead of him. If you’re looking for a good laugh on a night out\, be sure to catch James live! \n“James Ellis is a triple threat” – ANGELA BARNES \n“The gags are just funny.
